The service is exactly what you'd expect from a place like this- perfect. A great selection of drinks as well. The food is wonderful. I had sesame encrusted ahi. Medium rare. Best meal of our 9 day stay on the island. NY strip cooked to perfection and perhaps the juiciest steak that has ever existed. You will not need sauce for this bad boy. Comparable prices to similar restaurants but it is well worth it. I will go here everytime I visit the area from now on.

Didn't stay here but had drinks and dinner here! Love coming here, if you need a drink the Mai tai are SOO good!! We ended up having our dinner here after our wedding. Luna the manager accommodated us and made sure everything was set! We had live music which was perfect. Always a blast coming here, food came out quick and tasty
Tldr; Lightning fast service and delicious food. Beach front view. We ordered the salsa and chips and within 30 seconds it was on our table. Our main course was also lightning fast. The food was also delicious, especially their mai tais (with commemorative cup). Would come back again for taste food and great beach vibes :)
My wife and I ate at the beach club during happy hour one day and dinner on another, during our one week vacation. Albert was our server on the happy hour visit and Janese was our dinner server! Both were outstanding and they went above and beyond to serve us. Food and drinks were excellent Andy I would highly recommend this location for a unique and fun dining experience! Thank you!
Lava lava Restaurant was a magical place to enjoy and great meal & watch the sunset! I took my shoes off and had them in the sand which was so lovely! The atmosphere is relaxed and very beach vibe. The service was excellent and so was the food! We had a wonderful selection of yummy cocktails to choose from and our table liked all of them we tried. Live music was a great touch. The portion sizes were nice and we ended up sharing a few different dishes. There is a free parking lot if you want to walk or a pay one which is quite expensive, but give them your plate number and you wonβt be charged. I will definitely look forward to going again.
So good we came back two days in a row! The first night we had a reservation and sat at around 4:15 PM for the 5:30 sunset, which worked out perfectly because we got a great table close to the beach. We had some really good food, some great drinks, live music, and the sunset was epic. On our second day, we actually only intended on coming to get some drinks at the bar, but we ended up staying again for the sunset and ate dinner at the bar. We had a great time. The food was excellent. I had the burger and the chicken fried rice. Pro tip: You can get the ribs, eat half for dinner, and then have the second half for breakfast with eggs the next day. Highly recommend if you're staying in the waikoloa Beach area.
